THE AMISH MENNONITE PRACTICE OF THE LOT FOR SELECTING MINISTERS: AUDIO INTERVIEW WITH DAVID I. MILLER  A conversation with his son about how and why the lot was used in ordaining ministers, including recollections from boyhood of his father being selected for the ministry. Correction: Simon Schrock, instead of Lewis Overholt, should have been named as under assignment of the Beachy Amish Mennonites in Germany at the time of ordination for that work.

VIDEO ON CONSERVATIVE MENNONITE CONFERENCE HISTORY Three Casselman River area congregations belong to the Conservative (Amish) Mennonite Conference: Cherry Glade, Oak Dale, and Maple Glen. Here is a retrospective of the conference's history at its centennial in 2010. It includes individuals from those three congregations. Video produced by Phyllis Swartz, narrated by Ryan Freed.
